What is TokyoDex?
If you’re here, it means you’ve heard the name “TokyoDex” at least a few times, and you may be wondering, “What is TokyoDex?”
It’s simple really. TokyoDex is a small team of creative producers who work closely with myriad artists across Japan and around the globe to help make the world Better with Art. While you’re here, why not take a look around our website to find out more, or drop us a line via the contact link below? Oh, and we’ve prepared some special gifts for those who took the time to stop by!
Turn the sound up!
The idea for this campaign started with a simple question from one of our artist friends, Shinpei Kashihara: “Why don’t more people know about TokyoDex?” He made this video with a focus on this question to help us get the word out, and then a few more friends donated some cool prizes to aid in our efforts. Each week we’ll be giving away a different art-inspired gift. See below for details.

Shinpei Kashihara is an artist and designer whose works are based on the traditional Japanese art form of “suiboku-ga” (ink painting). His works include interior decoration, live paint performances, textile design and video creation. This video project was the result of an informal meeting between Shinpei and TokyoDex director Daniel Harris Rosen where the two discussed the meaning of TokyoDex and how artwork transcends language.
