April DexNews: New Artwork at EY Japan!

EY Japan Office Art Project
We are proud to share our most recent completed work for EY’s new office in Tokyo Midtown Hibiya in 2018. With the help of three amazing artists, Jay Shogo, Shinpei Kashihara, and Mariya Suzuki, TokyoDex added original artwork throughout the entire office space.
Jay Shogo’s line drawings depict Japanese intangible cultural assets in a contemporary style while Mariya Suzuki’s illustration capture “shitamachi” vignettes and the city of Tokyo. Shinpei Kashihara’s world map and floral patterns reflect more traditional Japanese brushwork. Each artist’s distinct style perfectly harmonizes with the modern office design. A massive 12-meter Vision Wall in the main cafe painted by Mariya Suzuki was based on one of our workshops and captures the EY’s motto, “Building a better working world.”
With 21 walls and 61 columns painted, this project marks one of our biggest office-art installations to date.
